#APTSERIES
As a young designer, I am constantly looking for ways to keep my mind and representation skills sharp, precise, and fluid outside of the office environment.
An ongoing personal project that I have used as a way to stretch my creative muscles outside of the workplace has been what I have coined ‘#Aptseries.’ While living in a new city temporarily for three months with none of my personal possessions or people I knew, I sat in my fully furnished Airbnb and decided to draw and document the places I have lived and the places I will live.
This ongoing project unfolds in two different ways - some are drawn as I am actively living there while some are drawn solely from my memory. Each scenario highlights different things that are a result of how and when I drew it, however all of them attempt to reshape the spaces and relationships as I experienced them while living there.
